What if the doorway is not enough? You will need to break the wall above too. After you have out the hot tub, though,  you need to plaster the walls back with cement. The downside with this method is that your door frame might not be as strong as it used to be before the adjustment.

Kindly put on safety gear because breaking walls is not as easy as it sounds. You will have small stones flying around as you slam the hammer into the wall. Such stones can get into your eye, hit your face, or even hit an object close by.

How To Take a Hot Tub Apart?

First, you need to unplug the hot tub, take out the parts such as the heating elements, the filters, the blower, pump, and control panel if you have a handheld model and remove the shell or frame, amongst other steps.

We recommend this as the last option, but if you have considered other options and can’t work, this might work.

In order to take your hot tub apart, you will need the user’s manual and a few other essential tools like a wrench, a screwdriver, a pair of work gloves, and the lot. Each of these tools will come in handy in the process of taking the hot tub apart.

Since you are taking the tub apart to replace it with another hot tub, be careful with the handling and placement of the parts of the hot tub. Additionally, take note of where you unscrewed a part of the hot tub from and the screws that fit into every hole since you will be reassembling the tub later on.

This might require you to write and note things down, too, so get a pen and paper to get accurate details.

What should you Consider Before Putting a Hot Tub Indoors?

Ventilation: Hot tubs produce a lot of steam, and if the room is not well ventilated, the steam has nowhere to escape through. This will lead to a build-up of moisture on the walls, floors and ceiling. If this continues, the paint on the walls, floor and ceiling will start to come off, which will also weaken the walls gradually.

Water Source: Hot tubs need a constant water source when you want to fill or refill the tub. The good news is that a garden hose can solve this concern, Connect a long garden hose to a tap located anywhere in the house and run water through that into the tub.

Power Source: The electrical setup of the hot tub needs consideration. Suppose you are putting the hot tub indoors, though wall sockets and power outlets inside the house will not be capable of carrying the electrical loads of a hot tub.

The water resistance of the floor: Getting into the hot tub, bathing in the tub, and refilling the tub will mostly lead to water spills on the floor. If the water gets spilt on the floor can cause you to slip and fall. Additionally, this water can damage your floor.

Drainage: All hot tub needs drainage at least every three months. If the tub is placed indoors, draining the hot tub might be challenging as if the tub was placed outdoors.
